Ballymoney Health Centre – Reception Refurbishment

Project Overview

The H&J Martin Facilities Management Projects Team were appointed to oversee the refurbishment of the existing reception area at Ballymoney Health Centre. The project centred on modernising the public-facing environment while improving durability, functionality, and user experience within this busy healthcare setting. All specialist joinery elements were expertly delivered by Rosewood Bespoke Joinery, ensuring a high‑quality finish throughout.

Scope of Works

Reception Desk Installation

Rosewood Bespoke Joinery designed, manufactured, and installed a bespoke stable‑style reception desk tailored to the operational needs of the centre. Key features include:

• Ash veneered panelling, providing a warm and professional aesthetic
• Hi‑Macs Aurora Bianco solid surface workstations, offering a hygienic, seamless and highly durable surface
• Integrated sliding glass screens to support both staff protection and clear communication with visitors

Low-Level Partition Wall System

To enhance spatial definition and visitor flow, Rosewood Bespoke Joinery installed a new low‑level partition wall system incorporating:

• Steel vertical support posts for structural stability
• V‑groove MDF panels with a high‑quality painted finish for a clean, contemporary look
• Ash hardwood capping rail and skirting, providing consistency with the wider joinery scheme

Minor Building Works

Under the direction of the H&J Martin Facilities Management Projects Team, supporting works were completed to integrate new elements into the existing layout, ensuring a seamless and durable refurbishment.
