Our benefits

Generous Annual Leave

We provide 25 days annual leave in addition to customary holidays. Annual leave increases each year up to 30 days after five years’ service. In addition, we give all employees the opportunity to purchase up to 5 additional holidays.

Occupational Sick Pay

Rosewood Bespoke Joinery offers an Occupational Sick Pay scheme to support employees in the event of illness, provided alongside standard Statutory Sick Pay (SSP). Eligible employees can receive up to 24 weeks of paid sickness absence per year under this scheme.

Health Cash Plan

At Rosewood Bespoke Joinery, we understand that healthcare benefits provide peace of mind and greater choice in managing your wellbeing. That’s why we offer a Healthcare Cash Plan to reimburse you for the cost of dental treatment, optical care, professional therapies, and more.

We cover the full cost of this plan — including the associated tax liability — giving you access to valuable health benefits. You also have the option to upgrade your cover or add family members at an additional cost.

Employee Assistance Programme

We appreciate that from time to time our employees may experience personal problems which may adversely impact upon their work performance, health and well-being. We have therefore ensured that help is at hand when you need it most. A confidential employee assistance programme is available 24/7, 365 days a year to all staff through the Health Cash Plan benefit. The programme offers a wide range of support services such as counselling (telephone and face to face sessions), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and impartial independent advice on matters such as health and well-being, finance and legal issues.

Optical care

Eye tests are available for all employees as part of the health cash plan.

Bike to work scheme

Employees can take advantage of the bike to work scheme — a cost-effective way to purchase a bicycle and cycle equipment. Employees can exchange part of their salary to lease a bike, saving on the retail price.

Health promotions

Rosewood Bespoke Joinery promotes health education and wellbeing, helping employees make informed choices. Employees can access discounted annual gym memberships through salary sacrifice or net pay deductions.

Generous contributory pension

To help employees save for the future, we offer a generous contributory pension and support employees to maximise personal contributions through a salary sacrifice scheme.

Death in service benefit

For peace of mind, Rosewood Bespoke Joinery provides life assurance cover at four times annual salary.

Private medical cover

About one third of our employees are eligible for private medical insurance, which can include self-cover or cover for self and family.

Enhanced maternity and paternity pay

We offer an enhanced maternity and paternity scheme for eligible employees. We also support mothers returning from maternity leave with phased return arrangements.

Flexible working time policy

We recognise that flexibility helps employees balance work, family, and personal needs, and offer a variety of flexible working options.

Social events

We organise a range of social activities throughout the year. As a family business, we are pleased to welcome employees and their families to company fun days.

Discretionary bonus scheme

Most employees are eligible to participate in our discretionary bonus scheme. Bonuses are reviewed and awarded twice per year based on business performance and individual eligibility.

Long service awards

Almost 20% of our employees have over 10 years’ service. We recognise each five-year milestone with generous awards to mark the occasion.

Learning and development opportunities

We aim to provide each employee with a minimum of three days of learning and development each year, in addition to on-the-job learning. Opportunities include internal or external courses, our line manager programme ‘Inspire’, or our leadership programme ‘Accelerate’. Financial support and study leave are also available for employees undertaking external programmes.

Paid professional subscription

Many of our employees are members of professional bodies (e.g. ICDE, CIOB, RICS, CIPD). We pay for one annual professional membership subscription per employee each year.

Annual car allowance

Around 30% of our employees perform roles that attract an annual car allowance. Drivers may also request a fuel card.

Volunteering day

We value the importance of giving back. Every employee is encouraged to take one paid volunteering day each calendar year to support a cause of their choice.
